Damn, a pox on you! Everyone on the thread popping up their entries so fast, it makes me jealous. But awesome work man. Love the contrast you've got going on.

Hey man, I love the line work you've got going on here, just one problem I have with it, and it may even be nothing but, she's not pointing her gun towards her step-dad, she's kind of pointing over his shoulder.

XavierStarr responds:

Yeah I had her pointing it straight at the gap in the door at the viewer, as past the door is so dark she cannot see where he is hiding.

Don't know why Tortoro would be boxing but it looks so awesome. Love it. Especially all the little details like the hairs and marks on the gloves.

Demp responds:

I know kinda silly the idea but was fun to paint and that's all that matters :p

Great piece you got yerself right here, awesome use of negative space. Glad to see it made to the front page, you deserve it!

Demp responds:

Thanks man, didn't know that this piece made it to the front page until read your message :p

Man I really love this, awesome colours and the shapes and tiny details, it kind of looks like a really well drawn character design for Samurai Jack.

Laseranders responds:

Thank you! I haven't watched Samurai Jack, but I like that style and I think I've probably collected some inspiration from similar stuff over the years.

Awesome drawing, I really like the dirty grungy line work.

Hey nice, it already looks way more improved with a bit of anatomical correctness. What program are you using to make these? Because now you just need to smooth and blend the different shades together and you'll get that ultra realistic stuff going on, unless you want to keep it as is in which, keep at it.

min3ralWater responds:

Thank you! I was trying to make it look like watercolours or oil mabye, so I left the strokes very clear here and there. I'm using a programming called krita and I'm still learning, so I'm just experimenting with different brushes for now. I'll try to make it more "ultra realistic" next time. Anyways, I'm glad you liked it!

Holy shit I love Takehiko Inoue, and this really reflects his style a lot. Makes me want to go read Vagabond again.

LemKuuja responds:

Yeah, he's incredible. This man is just... I DON'T HAVE A WORD FOR IT! XD
He's the one that really pushed me to start using brush pens, (as well as Scott Robertson lol).
